Well, I had a great...

weekend. Saturday night my buddy Pat and I went to our friend Debbie's house and got together with some great girls for a night of laughter, fun and ??scrapping??. They scrapped, I just talked. Well actually I did manage to make this card with the help of my buddy Pat!!! I made this for my son's teacher as a thank you. He's leaving grade 3, hence the frame around the three. I would like to spend some time today making a few cards for the PaperCrafts call that is ending tomorrow, it's supposed to be a rainy day so hopefully Abby will cooperate with me and I can get some work done!! Doin' the Happy Dance!!

Well, it's Friday and even though I have to work today and tomorrow, I am excited because I get to spend Saturday night and Sunday with my fellow paper addicts!! We'll have fun and I am really looking forward to the night away with the girls!!!

I made this card for the Sketch This card blog this week. I finally broke down and cut into this beautiful scalloped paper, I think it's Narratives by Karen Russell, there was no name on the back of it, someone correct me if I am wrong!! May Arts ric rac, Merry Christmas I've had kicking round here forever, touch of lace and some old buttons from my button box.

Bling!!

This is for the {Caardvarks} http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/ Bling Bling Hello challenge going on this week. Great challenge too by the way. I am totally inspired by Roree's designs lately, (she's also their Guest Designer for this challenge too) I love the way she ties all her different elements together. She definitely has the knack!! I used Imaginisce papers and MM Glitter letters, stamped vellum flower had glitter added to all the petals, jewel brad in center of felt flower and bling along the bottom of the tag. This looks much prettier and blingier in real life!!! Hope you like it!!!

Final one for today

...I think. I've had fun today playing with my new Daisy D's paper. Here's the latest CPS #14. This one was quick and easy. As you can tell I am so pathetically bow challenged!! Can someone help me??? Well, perhaps I should stop playing now and get some work done, haven't done much yet, let me tell ya, but what better way to spend a rainy Sunday!! Can you think of anything better??

This is another entry for the CPS sketch contest. Used more of the Beacon Hill by Daisy D. Rub on and frame are both unknown. Ribbon and ric rac are all May Arts. Cut out and popped a flower on top of flower for a little depth.

We are really not supposed to work today are we?? It is a day of rest and play right?? Well, I've been playing. This first card will be heading all the way to Kentucky, I hope she likes it. I got the idea of using both the positive and negative of the scallop from Amy Westerman http://heartfeltgreetings.blogspot.com/ I love her blog, she does such nice work and always has a great challenge to do. I used the gorgeous new Daisy D's Beacon Hill papers and Lil Davis chipboard flower, the swirl is a Plain Jane chipboard piece, oh and May ARts ric rac of course!!!

Hump Day

Well, it is cold and rainy here today, not even my dog wants to go out!!! I have to go to work this afternoon but just felt the need to create something before I went. Here it is!! I used Imaginsce papers, surprise!, MM Boho chic letters, brad and felt flower from my trusty ole dollar store!! Hope you all make it through the rest of the day and let's hope for some sunshine for the weekend!!

Another Monday's here again!! Where do these weeks go? The kids will soon be out of school and it'll be vacation time before you know it!!

May Flowers

Here's a few flowers for spring. It has been so nice here this past week, I do hope spring is finally here. I made this card for a challenge to use three different types of flowers and I managed to use six different types, if you include the paper!! It is Imaginisce papers and Primas, Gin X chipboard, MM brads, Silk flower and the felt flower is from the $$ Store. I just love a good find at the $$ Store.
